Faculty, staff, & students who store personal files do so at their own risk. HSC OP 56.01 states that Information Resources are provided for the express purpose of conducting the business of HSC. However, as a convenience to the HSC community, incidental personal use of Information Resources is permitted as long as it is consistent with HSC policies.
Files stored on HSC’s Box instance are the property of HSC.
Personal files WILL NOT be retrieved for any former faculty, staff, or student after their affiliation with HSC has ended. It is the responsibility of faculty, staff, & students to retrieve their personal files prior to their last day of affiliation, and access to information resources is terminated.
Current employee files/folders WILL NOT be transferred to another employee by IT. The employee who owns the files must transfer ownership.
